  In the above picture, which was taken from routine surveillance in the episode 'Harmony,' you can see a ships drift anchor. But what is it doing in the desert? The anchor is described as a folly, a nothing. But to Six it means escape! Because where there is an anchor there's a ship, and where there's a ship there's water, a sea, an ocean.
    Production Designer Michael Pickwoad explained, using a page from his sketchbook, how the original idea was to have a life-size wrecked ship attached to the anchor as shown in the designers sketchbook. However it proved to be totally impractical to construct a full-size ship in the Namibian desert. So the idea was dropped.
