There
is a phrase, put all your rotten eggs in one basket. And so it is that people
with attitude of one kind or another, even in thought if not deed. You will no
doubt recall the Rook and his treasonable thoughts about wanting all nations to
have his electronic defence system as it would have ensured peace. They are put
in The Village. And it doesn’t matter from which country people come, The
Village is an international community, it recognizes no official boundaries
like borders. Perhaps The Village is an international, cosmopolitan place
because all nations are involved with it in some way. A fanciful thought no
doubt, but stranger things happen every day.
