I
learned yesterday via The Unmutual website that Angela, the eldest of the Candy
Sisters (pictured above} had passed away on the 7th of November. At
the time of filming ‘the Prisoner’ at Portmeirion in September 1966, the then
Blackpool-based cabaret act were performing at Butlin's in Pwllheli in North Wales . Patrick McGoohan asked them to be
part of the 'Dance of the Dead' episode in which they appeared in two scenes.
I extend my sincerest sympathies to Angela's
family and friends.
