Yes, as preposterous as ...Hello Moor Larkin,

Yes, as preposterous as 'The Unbiqitous Mr. Lovegrove,' in which Drake has a physical/mental struggle with himself, a scene from which Patrick McGoohan gained his inspiration for the meeting of No.6 and No.1 in 'Fall Out.'

I think one can be forgiven for thinking that 'The girl Who Was Death' if not an actual unused script {a tale based in legend regarding 'the Prisoner'} because it seems that McG has revived his role of John Drake {no I'm not stating that it was}. Two further stories have been bandied about 'The Girl Who Was Death,' one being that originally it was supposed to have been 90 minutes in length, and the cut scenes from the original script would, suggest this to be correct. Secondly, that 'The Girl Who Was Death' was to have been a two part episode, I read that last one on a web page yesterday, and a tale I had not previously come across, but which I feel would have been milking it somewhat, and would have been an episode too far!

Regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-35991939874984523462011-08-22T23:46:21.667+01:002011-08-22T23:46:21.667+01:00@ The Girl Who Is Death is pure escapism, a fairyt...@ The Girl Who Is Death is pure escapism, a fairytale, but a dangerous fairytale none the less. It is an episode which would not be out of place as an episode of Danger Man @

Actually, I can think of almost no show it would have been *more* out of place in, than Danger Man. The notion that this started any significant life as an episode from that series is preposterous.Moor Larkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05275057917684784541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-25475769531917901462011-08-22T10:27:11.945+01:002011-08-22T10:27:11.945+01:00Hello Rook,
