So we're talking p...Hello Mister Anonymous,
So we're talking piped blazers. That's quite correct, well spotted. Indeed throughout 'the Prisoner' series there are many citizens who wear piped blazers, No.12 in 'The General' and the chess Champion No.14 in 'Checkmate,' No.14 in 'Hammer Into Anvil,' and No's.22 and 51 of 'It's Your Funeral' are just a few examples. But No.6's piped blazer is the best, because if you look very carefully at many of the piped blazers worn by Village citizens, it can be seen that the piping around the edge of the blazers has been done very roughly. Not to the best standard of work they might have been.

Also no doubt you wil have observed how No.6 wears two different piped blazers. One has continuous piping along the lapel, the other has broken piping round the lapel. Of course it stands to reason that No.6 would have two blazers, one on and one at the dry cleaners. But there are times when No.6 is wearing the blazer with the continuous piping one moment, and a moment later he's wearing the blazer with broken piping, which makes it a continuity error!

In the past, there was a debate as to what colour No.6's blazer is, {I mentioned this in a previous blog}, some fans said it's black, while others insisted that it is brown. Actually they were both right. Because depending on the lighting, in some scenes No.6's blazer looks black, while in other scene the blazer looks to be brown in colour. But having actually seen the original piped blazer worn by No.6, it was actually, by the time I saw it, faded black. A trival point, but then there is nothing more important then trivialities.

Regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-61493741487020585272011-06-04T01:17:03.873+01:002011-06-04T01:17:03.873+01:00Hello David

Perhaps that's the new No.2 hurrying to take up his office in the Green Dome. Sadly we cannot see the cyclists face, so it could be, and in all probability, is anyone.

Regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-8023887163344552332011-05-31T04:25:09.638+01:002011-05-31T04:25:09.638+01:00Hello David
