David kindly let me have his article on the "mundane Village". You may want to read it, check here: http://match-cut.de/spdln/spdln133.htm#spdlne - BCNU!nr6dehttp://www.nummer6-theprisoner.denoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-88639641261423711732014-09-11T08:37:17.508+01:002014-09-11T08:37:17.508+01:00Hello again Nadia,

They would effectively become Prisoners like anyone else there, not being able to leave. The work-force would be very large, and presumably would not be able to mingle with the inmates! So, thinking about the size of The Village, there must have been other quarters where the work-force live, eat and sleep, not in The Village itself!

Very kind regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-32129772308476084792014-09-11T08:25:39.086+01:002014-09-11T08:25:39.086+01:00Hi David

Do they get together and have a laugh when the bosses backs are turned? Would it be like any other workplace?
I particularly like that scene in Hammer into Anvil when No 2 surprises his assistant who's sitting around twidding his thumbs in the hallway outside 2's office. Must be boring just waiting around for when you're needed!
Love
Nadia Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-48869745720145893042014-09-11T08:00:00.205+01:002014-09-11T08:00:00.205+01:00Hi Nadia,

I like the way he's slumbering in an armchair, perhaps dozing, then upon hearing the double steel doors of Number 2's office he jumps up giving the impression that he's been standing there all the time!

Had Number 2 trusted Number 14, he is the one person who could have helped him.

Very best regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-6821566206808209122014-09-10T12:40:42.608+01:002014-09-10T12:40:42.608+01:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
