The shop even sells Portmeirion pottery salt and pepper pots seen on a shelf behind the counter.
The shopkeeper may have asked his customer to help herself to a pineapple, but I bet a Pound to a Work Unit that the shopkeeper charged her for it! Mind you he could have had an offer on, buy one get one free, although that's way ahead in time of The Village! Did you notice the Village carrier bags hanging up, white with a red label, just behind the Prisoner in the picture.

Very best regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-51153389858422979592014-09-16T12:06:37.598+01:002014-09-16T12:06:37.598+01:00I love this scene! That shop looks fascinating - I would love a good rummage around, ha ha!
Love
NAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-10034427817310171212012-04-29T17:29:55.275+01:002012-04-29T17:29:55.275+01:00Perhaps a Babel fish suddenly jumped into the Pris...Perhaps a Babel fish suddenly jumped into the Prisoner's ear...

BCNU );oBSteveJailbirdMatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11936681840889232716noreply@blogger.com
