Her brother at that time had a girlfriend who came from Yugoslavia, who helped her make the language up.

Kind regards
David
Lye izeet azoon!David Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-7737224353074144392012-10-19T08:05:56.007+01:002012-10-19T08:05:56.007+01:00Hello David,

I...Hi David,

my fault, memory is a false friend.

It is a very interesting idea that No6 could have tried to teach No58 the salute. It also explains why he chose the salute. I've always thought that No58 reacts so excited because the Prisoner tried to speak her language, what for the new Number 2 must be a sign that he gives in, or at least bends a little (what in the next second really scares him..). But I think thats right, he really tried to teach her. Interesting point of view.

Well, and in a way he invented the language, didn't he?

Kind regards,
Jana
BCNUJananoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-51775808807130570842012-10-17T09:34:01.512+01:002012-10-17T09:34:01.512+01:00Hi Jana,

So there is no-way No.6 could have known the phrase in such a foreign language.
In fact if you look at the scene it seems as though No.6 is teaching No.58 the phrase, as she seems to have been taken by surprise and jumps to attention to say the phrase herself.

Kind regards
David
Be seeing youDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-37601345378584555462012-10-16T14:20:49.705+01:002012-10-16T14:20:49.705+01:00Hi David,
