There's little evidence, alas, that would underline the supposition, only what we hear from Ms. Butterworth's mouth. And she's definitely not on our side... - BCNU!nr6dehttp://www.nummer6-theprisoner.denoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-67402087259564666072016-01-25T15:27:18.407+00:002016-01-25T15:27:18.407+00:00Hello Arno,

But that ZM73 added a few personal possessions of his own, which anyone would do.

Best regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-62401449889023493832016-01-25T10:50:29.617+00:002016-01-25T10:50:29.617+00:00>>Whether or not the Prisoner’s London home ...>>Whether or not the Prisoner’s London home came fully furnished when he took up the lease is still open to debate. But if it did, he would have added a few personal touches of his own, with a few personal possessions...<< - An interesting observation. It may seem a bit far-fetched, but have you watched the movie "Heat" (Robert De Niro and Al Pacino), have you noticed McCauley's (de Niro) flat? It's telling in terms of personality. Could the same be said of No. 6, too?

To be true, De Niro's character is a killer, not a government agent. But he as well as No. 6 has his principles and convictions, very strong ones. And while No. 6s flat is furnished with belongings that perhaps aren't his own, maybe devoid of personal touches (we cannot be too sure), McCauley's flat is completely empty, with a large window leading straight out to the sea shore, and except of one leather armchair (and probably a bed). It is a blank space regarding his personality. In a way he's a loner as much as No. 6 himself is one. McCauley says he doesn't want and need things that he cannot get rid of within a couple of minutes. So, No. 6 might be another type of "man in a suitcase". Who knows. - BCNU!nr6dehttp://www.nummer6-theprisoner.denoreply@blogger.com
