I don't know how many of them have been bought, and so are about in the World.
I remember how several years ago now, I made a desk-top size cardboard cut-out of Number 6. It was just under A4 size, it was a novelty at the time, but it was on my desk for quite some time, until one day it ended up in the wastepaper basket!

Very kind regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-69492240778972190312015-07-04T18:08:44.788+01:002015-07-04T18:08:44.788+01:00Hello Jana,

It's the picture used also here, in lifesize: https://ixquick-proxy.com/do/spg/show_picture.pl?l=deutsch&rais=https%3A%2F%2Fs3-eu5.ixquick.com%2Fcgi-bin%2Fserveimage%3Furl%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2F3.bp.blogspot.com%2F-Miz1Us9oQQ0%2FUfrLwnkb0-I%2FAAAAAAAAJ0U%2Fx83xl8JifYY%2Fs0%2FThePrisJap.jpg%26sp%3Da1f8310a6bf9a957f57452e705505fd9

I mean, it is well understandable for a commercial business to use the iconic figure. However, it also leave us with the notion of uneasiness. But that's popular culture. - BCNU!nr6dehttp://www.nummer6-theprisoner.denoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-91021644856847922102015-07-04T15:05:58.018+01:002015-07-04T15:05:58.018+01:00Hello David, hello Arno,

Must be interesting.. But I think I wouldn't like to awake.
Best wishes,
JanaJananoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-22744169569170807572015-07-04T14:21:03.116+01:002015-07-04T14:21:03.116+01:00Hello Arno,

I saw a cut-out of Number 6 in a photograph taken at the Convention, I thought that was creepie enough, but to have it standing outside the Prisoner shop....yes I bet it is eerie. And what might it look like the first time to an unsuspecting visitor to Portmeirion?!

Enjoy the weekend
Very kind regards
David
BCNUDavid Stimpsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196038086564981619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9036104775563265647.post-62808390607739482542015-07-04T09:36:52.155+01:002015-07-04T09:36:52.155+01:00Especially when he could see himself, or his cardb...Especially when he could see himself, or his cardboard incarnation rather, standing in front of what was formely his home 6 Private, now the Prisoner shop, welcoming visitors... Something eerie about it, isn't it. - BCNU! nr6dehttp://www.nummer6-theprisoner.denoreply@blogger.com
