This is Dr. Jacob Seltzman, who devised a machine able to swap the minds of two people. The village administration has a Seltzman machine, but what they don't have is Seltzman, they don't even know where Seltzman is! So why does the village need Seltzman? Because he has developed a reversal process, to put the minds of two people back in their rightful bodies..........Just a minute, why not simply put the two subjects through the exact same process they were put through in the first place in order to re-house the two minds correctly?
And that's what's wrong with the plot of the script for
the Prisoner episode
Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling, it's full of holes! I mean if the village administration didn't know where Seltzman is in the first place, how did they acquire a Seltzman machine in the second place?
