The Prisoner episode The General was originally screened after that of A B & C, in which Colin Gordon plays No.2 and the new No.2, but not necessarily in that order. The fact of the matter is, The General was filmed before A B & C, so that when No.2-Colin Gordon makes his return appearance, he does so five weeks before his debut!
