George Marksetin was the script editor on the Prisoner, and enjoyed a cameo role in the opening sequence, being the man sat behind the desk to whom the Prisoner handed in his letter of resignation.
George also appeared in this role during the episode of Many Happy Returns, but sadly not during Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling, because he had left the production, long before that particular episode, hence the need for Patrick Jordan who plays the role of Danvers, the man sat behind the desk when the Prisoner, in the form of the Colonel, demanding to see Sir Charles Portland in Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling.
