Postcard From The Village

A view across the estuary. The Hotel Portmeirion, the quayside, complete with stone boat. To the right is Anchor, which contains a group of serviced rooms, semi attached to the main Hotel. Many a time I have tread the beach when the tide was out. But one has to be respectful of the tide, as it can turn very quickly, encircle you, cutting you off from the coast. Many a time people have been stranded on a sandbank in the estuary, then with the need to be rescued.
Be seeing you
