Pictorial PRISONER

This is the new logo, or emblem of the village. But it's more than that, as you will see in the following three pictures. When I first saw this symbol, I took it to be a hand, and I see that I was not far wrong, judging by the next three pictures. But what this first sign is doing up a tree I don't know!

                         The same sign can be see in this second picture, and seems to be used as a stop sign. But surely it should be facing the other way round for a pedestrian sign post!

             And here, in the third picture, the sign is put to a real practical use, as a sign for a one-way road system.
