Postcard From The Village

A couple of observations can be made in this postcard of Portmeirion. The first is quite obvuous, the lack of the Green Dome or Pantheon. The second is the Dinghy hanging from the dabits of the Amis Reunis {Stone Boat}. Also the statue appertaining to be Lady Hamilton, has yet to be put in place by that arch of the hotel. Admiral Lord Nelson with the French Tricolour draped about him, could be seen if only we could turn round to face the other way. But I suspect that even at this time, Neslon has yet to be put in his place, certainly Napoleon Bonaparte couldn't do it!
