No.8 was previously a woman working in the Cipher Room in It's Your Funeral, who ordered the Daily Progonosis Report on No.6. But by the time of Living In Harmony, No.8 is a young man who has perfected role playing to a fine art, with the aid of hallucinatory drugs. And of course previous to this, No.8 was Nadia Rakovski during The Chimes of Big Ben, and the white Queen in Checkmate. No.22 was a doctor, also in Checkmate. So the question is, where do all these people go? Are they like Nadia, simply allowed to leave the village? Do they die? Are they promoted to a higher number, or demoted to a lower one? The answer is a simple one, it could be any of the former, if not all three. But the fact of the matter is, I simply don't know!
