  The Rough and Tumble of Role Playing!

    By the strength emitting from McGoohan, and by the expression on McKern's face, I'd say McGoohan was really going for it at this moment. Not so much role playing, more like acting it for real. In fact that's what Leo McKern actually thought at the time, that McGoohan was playing it for real. Such was McKern's experience of working on Once Upon A Time, and with McGoohan, as he quickly suffered from a nervous breakdown. As legend has it, Leo McKern swore that he would not work with that man again, meaning Patrick McGoohan, and he took some persuading to come back for the final episode Fall Out.
