Thought For The Day

For many years, within the realm of Prisoner appreciation, there has been a theory that Curtis could be No.1. Now if that theory is correct, then that must mean that No.6 got it wrong about No.6 being dead, as he reported on the telephono to No.2 in The Schizoid Man, either that or Curtis was resuscitated.
So this theory of Curtis being No.1, can work both ways you know. Perhaps No.1 being Curtis was a way for No.1 to have a change of surroundings, to take a hands-on role in the Village, finally getting his own hands dirty as he goes about the Village impersonating No.6. I think No.1 would have enjoyed that, I really do, and especially the banter between himself and No.6. The shooting, the fencing, dusting No.6 down outside the Recreation Hall, and enjoying No.6's attempt to try and maintain his identity which had been taken away from him, to prove that he is No.6, and that No.1 is the economy pack!.
But what could be worse for No.2 than No.6 being dead? 'Rover' getting the wrong man, in suffocating No.1 to death! No.2 was right to panic, to have Rover deactivated and no doubt an ambulance with a medical team sent to the spot almost immediately, to try to resuscitate Rovers victim.   Be seeing you
