Seasons Greetings
I should just like to take this opportunity to wish all readers of my blog the seasons greetings at this festive time of the year.
Most felicitous greetings to all who populate this Blog, but especially No3, who holds a special place in my curious heart.
An episode based around No6 and his sniffy views about Xmas in the village would indeed have been a worthy addition to the pantheon, but I half recall that Xmas, in 1966, was not quite what it has become, in 2011.
And my felicitations to you at this festive time of the year, and thank you for your kind words. What's more you will be hearing more from me in the New year, of that you may depend upon.
Christmas, who has time to enjoy the Christmas? You are not aware of this, but I have been keeper of The Tally Ho Archive for years now. More then that I hardly see the light of day, residing as I do in this gas-lit, underground, dust laden archive. Christmas is nothing to me, not one card have I received. Not one present will I be given to open on Christmas day. Not tree, no tinsle, no Turkey dinner, or Christmas cheer on Christmas day. Yet, your kind words do bring a warm glow to my heart. So Moor, I wish you, and everyone who reads this blog a very Merry Christmas, and I'll be seeing you in 2012.
