Thought For The Day

At the outset of 'The Chimes of Big Ben' Number 6 can been seen standing on the balcony of the Green Dome, when moments later he's still lying in bed in his cottage!
Then afterwards when Number 6 is in interview with Number 2, Number 6 is standing on top of the stone bandstand, moments before Number 6 is seen leaving the Green Dome! So how is it that Number 6 can be in two places at the same time? Well quite obviously he cannot. Unless of course he has a double, or doppleganger.
Perhaps the figure we see standing on the balcony and the Bandstand is none other than Number 1, taking the Village air in the guise of Number 6. I might have said it is an early appearence of Curtis, getting an early feel of both the Village, and the character that he will later have to adopt. But then Curtis wears a cream blazer!

I'll be seeing you
