What's That Prisoner Up To?

The Prisoner "Anyone at home?"
"Oh! It's you."
"Have you nothing better to do with your time than the crossword?"
"How did you get in here?"
"The doors were open."
"The last time you were in here, you ranted and raved, stomped about the place, calling  me a............."
"Yes, well you know how it is, when you complain about something to someone, it's not always the fault of the person your are shouting at. You got my letter of course"
"It was hardly avoidable."
"You read it?"
"No, I simply passed it on."
"To the Colonel?"
"Yes. So what do you want now, your old job back?"
"As if."
"Where have you been?"
"I was abducted."
"Really!"
"Yes, soon after I'd seen you as it happens."
"Well it had nothing to do with me! Where have you been all this time?"
"In the Village, ask the Colonel, he knows all about it."
"The Colonel does?"
"He was there, and Fotheringay."
"They are no longer with us. There were some embarrassing questions that Fotheringay couldn't answer."
"Have they put him in the Village?"
"The Village?"
"Oh you wouldn't know, being nothing more than a glorified receptionist!"
"Now look here!"
"Most peole have a red telephone, why have you got a pink one?"
"Now don't start, I'll call security."
"While you're about it, call the Colonel and tell him the prodigal son is home, with a story Hans Christian Andersen wouldn't believe!"
