Number 6 sculpture, representing freedom or a barrier, depending on how you look at it. Well I look at it this way......that hole through which Number 6 addresses the Awards Committee, is but one of several large holes in a length of wood that will eventually make up the bottom of the boat in which Number 6 and Number 8 make good their escape.
Okay, the hull of the boat is secured by the use of ropes and a tarpauline, but the holes in the bottom of that boat are still there. If you ask me, Number 6 and Number 8 were lucky to get thirty feet, let alone 30 miles along the "Lithuanian" coastline!
