Teabreak Teaser

Why is it Number 2 and the Butler wear those Inuit sunglasses, and Number 6 doesn't?
They are obviously meant as protection, but protection against what?

  1. Hi David,
    in my opinion against enlightenment.

Or perhaps at least against too much of that light in the room. To me it seems as if it is the light that keeps Number Six in trance, isn't it?

    Kind regards,
    Jana

    1. Hello Jana,

As I said to Arno, the Inuit snow glasses would not soften the effect of the blue light, not block it out completely, because of the narrow slits of the glasses.
Oh yes I forgot, I have pair of modern day Inuit snow glasses which have become very fasionable. They have a number of open slits, and are completely ineffective against bright light, designed to reduce the white glare of the snow.

      Kind regards
      David

  2. No. 6 often receives a post-hypnotic treatment whereby a bright light is used which is not very comfortable to bear perhaps due to a certain frequency. To me the suggestion is this light enhances the treatment. He is then seen standing in this beam of light, symbolically with no place to hide. - BCNU!

    1. Hello Arno,

That's a very good comment. And hence Number 2 and the Butler are wearing the Inuit snow glasses.
I can only imagine that those snow glasses would only cut down the effect of the blue light, as the glasses have but a plain narrow slit, which would only possibly reduce the effect of the blue light, and not, as with dark sunglasses, block it out totally.

      Kind regards
      David
