Thought For The Day

During 'The Chimes of Big Ben' it is suggested that the Village is somewhere in Lithuainia, behind the Iron Curtain in fact. But that would be a lie wouldn't it? Is it possible for two Colonels, Fotheringay, to be traitors working for the other side? Perhaps both the Colonel and Thorpe were in on it as well, but there's really no way of knowing. Colonel Hawk Englishe, well his involvement is only due to No.6's story telling, so we cannot really count him into the equation. But thanks to the mistake by post 5 {Nadia's contact man} we know that the Village is in the same time zone as Britain. And of course in 'Many Happy Returns' No.6 pinpoints the location of the Village, what good it will do him.
On another matter, I have always thought of Potter in 'The Girl Who Was Death, as being the same character Potter I saw last night in the 'Danger Man' episode 'Koroshi.' There are those who would disagree with me, in fact Christopher Benjanim who plays Potter said that the two characters of Potter are so different not to be the same. Well that's as maybe, but do not forget that No.6 is telling a fairytale in 'The Girl Who Was Death,' so might not that have affected Potters character?

I'll Be seeing you
