The Great Seal of Office

This is the Great Seal of Office as worn by No.2 at all ceremonies, as during the Appreciation Day ceremony. It is slightly unusual, in the fact that it is made of metal. Great Seals are generally made from wax. When there is to ne a new King or Queen, the Great Seal of the previous King or Queen is broken. And after a new king or Queen is crowned then his ot her great seal is made. In the same way as Pope Benedict, who having resigned, had his Great Seal broken, and then a new Great Seal will be made for the next Pope.
In the case of the Chief Administrator's Great Seal, it would have to be melted down, and a new one forged! But then I suppose if that were done, the Great Seal would simply be the same, so it's passed on from one No.2 to the next. Such is the high turnover of No.2's in the Village!

Be seeing you
