Paddy In Wonderland!

In the past a number of fans akinned 'the Prisoner' to that of 'Alice's Adventues In Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll. I suppose No.6 does enjoy a number of adventures, although enjoy might be the wrong word in this instance. The Village could be described as being a "Wonderland," and there is the chess match, both Alice and No.6 take on the roles of Pawns!
In 1988 Steven Ricks {TR7 Productions} produced an animated puppet film called 'Paddy McGoolash In Wonderland,' a film which developed from cartoon characters of the late cartooninst Tony Reeves, who was a great fan of 'the Prisoner,' a member of Six of One: The Prisoner Appreciation Society, and who attended many 'Prisoner' Conventions held at Portmeirion.
Below is Lewis Carroll's diagram from the story 'Alice In Wonderland' as a game of chess, which was sent to me by Christine, who is a great fan of 'Allice' in Wonderland, and 'Through The Looking Glass.'

As you can read, white Pawn {Alice} to play, and win in eleven moves. I wonder if it is just  more than coincidence, that it is reported in 'It's Your Funeral' during the daily prognosis report, that a game of chess results in an eleven move checkmate win for No.6?!

Be seeing you
