Why the rush? I mean No.2 of 'Once Upon A time,' was only given a week, a week, they didn't want to damage No.6! But poor old No.2 of 'A B and C' was not even given a week, three days is all he got, why? Perhaps No.6 was right when he said in 'The Chimes of Big Ben' "Why, are you running out of time?"
Surely the extracting of information is best done slowly, by gradual erosion, and the wearing down of the subject under interrogation is far more effective. However this way is very slow, and time consuming. But I've never understood the reason, the need to rush to extract the reason behind the Prisoner's resignation. After all it's not as though No.6 is going anywhere....is it?

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, why the hurry to obtain information and knowing No.6's personality,I would think the more he was 'pushed and rushed' the more he would dig his heels and rebel.
