What is the parallel between 'The Prisoner' and 'the American television series 'Mission Impossible?'
MI was shot around the same time as The Prisoner. But that's probably not what you are aiming at. The introduction of the task the MI team was about to face which was almost identical. Only one dozen+ episodes were initially shown here. What else? - BCNU!
Nice comment, and close, but not close enough. Actually it's the scene in which Mister X goes to the Magnum Record shop, and receives his instructions from "the Chief" via record. This in the same way as Briggs used to in the first episodes of 'Mission Impossible.'
You knew, that's all that matters. Not only is there that parallel betwen 'The Girl Who Was Death' and 'Mission Impossible.' But also there is a strong parallel which can be drawn between the episode and Ian Flemming's novel 'Moonraker.!'
What's wrong with your orthography? - BCNU!

Yes, had it on my mind but I didn't write it. Perhaps it was too obvious. - BCNU!
