Thought For The Day

If the Village is as I believe, run by the British, what is the installation doing on Spanish or Portugese soil? After all there are plenty of isolated regions in Britain where such a Village might be situated well away from populated areas. Do either the Spanish or Portugese governments know of the existance of the Village, are they in fact co-operating with the British government?
I suppose the Village had to be situated away from Great Britain, otherwise it would have been too close to home, and therefore there would have been no mystery as to which side was behind the Village. But in having the Village located on the south west of Portugal and Spain, this does prohibit the Russians being behind the Village, Russia being a communist country behind the Iron Curtain.

Be seeing you
