A Surreal Moment!

A B and C is a primary example of surrealism in 'the Prisoner' as much of the episode takes place in No.6's dream. However during the third dose of the drug, No.6 only partially drugged and is able to control or manipulate what is taking place his subconscious. On the wall screen No.2 and 14 stand watching No.6's progress through the woods projected on the wall screen, along the pasageway, until finally the double doors of the laboratory begin to slide open.
It must have been a very surreal moment for No.2 and 14 to see the pair of steel doors of the laboratory slide open on the wall screen, when the actual doors of the laboratory remained closed, then to be compelled to watch No.6 walk in on the both of them, in his dream that is! I wonder how many times this scene could be played out, the scene of No.2 and 14 standing watching the scene evolve on the screen? What if this scene, which is happening in No.6's subconscious, would mean No.2 and 14 could be watching themselves watching the door opening, when the door to the laboratory doesn't open, over and over again. I suppose it all depends on how many levels of the subconscious there are!
Be seeing you
