Who Is The Most Free?

The former Number forty-eight, a man who tries to thumb a lift somewhere along the A20, in either direction of the carriageways, because to him the destination is not the important thing, because it is only the journey that matters. He is a rebel without a cause. A man who asks for nothing, and gives nothing in return. Then there's the former Number Two, who on escaping the Village, returns to London, and the trappings of the establishment. And then there's the former Number Six, he's just as much a Prisoner at the end, as he was at the beginning! And seeing as how the Prisoner is about to begin afresh at the end of 'Fall Out,' or indeed begin to start at the beginning for the very first time, Depending on how you look at it, then they're all to become as much a Prisoner as the Prisoner himself!

Be seeing you
