Not 'the Prisoner,' although at times it seemed like 'the Prisoner,' but an episode of 'Midsomer Murders' on ITV3 starring John Nettles as Chief Inspector Barnaby. The story was about an incident that had happened during the Cold War. There was an MI6 security officer who drives a Caterham {Lotus} Seven. A hearse which was similar to the one seen in 'The Prisoner.' In the story a cricket match took place, and standing by the thatched cricket pavilion was the MI6 security man scanning the match and crowd with a pair of binoculars. What's more there was an ex MI6 agent who died at the wicket. Well he didn't actually die at the wicket during the cricket match, but that's where the body was found, a touch of 'The Girl Who Was Death!'
