In ‘Many Happy
Returns’ Mrs. Butterworth is seen smoking. what
is it that Mrs Butterworth smokes?
I've often wondered if there was something extra behind her statement "I've always had a taste for a little speed", especially as it was 1967! As for "Many Happy Returns", I believe Sobranie cigarettes (black Russian) were quite fashionable back then, so if I had to guess I'd say Sobranie.
Hello ZM72, Its Curtis who smokes the Sobranie-black Russian cigarettes. Mrs. Butterworth smokes, not canabis {even though she says she has always had a taste for a little speed} but Cigarillos, a thin cigar with it's own holder.
