In ‘Dance of the Dead’ Number 6 asks the maid-Number 54 about the cat, "How did it get here? Then quickly moved on to ask about the transportation of; The milk? The ice cream? The potatoes, and the aspirins? You know, one could be a "lifer" in The Village and never learn the answer to a question like that. Unless of course someone is like Number 6 and managed to get out at night. I would imagine that at night time is also the time they empty the dustbins. Well you never see that work being done during the day!
