Give My Regards To The Homeland

    Such are the words spoken by the new Number 2 at the end of ‘Free For All’ to the departing No.2 in the helicopter. "Give my regards to the homeland" suggests that the village is not situated in the homeland, but somewhere in a foreign country, but one on friendly terms with the homeland, thus to allow such an installation as The Village to be built on foreign soil.

   So if The Village isn't in the homeland, then where? Certainly not on the Baltic, that would put if fairly and squarely behind the Iron Curtain. If it was, and we put Number 6 on his raft in the Baltic, and on a north-easterly course for 25 days {as in ‘Many Happy returns} he would have ended either in Sweden or Finland! As it is, the Village is situated somewhere on the coast to the south west of Portugal Spain, and Morocco, might be an Island was another suggestion. If it was Morocco, then that would put The Village in the same continent as The Village in THEPRIS6NER-09 series! At one point many years ago, a fan suggested that The Village is somewhere near Dover, at the end of the A20! But these days we know where the Village is located do we not?
