Quote For The Day

    "So to the outside world I'll be dead!"
                                   {Number Six - Dance of the Dead}

    The body apparently washed up on the beach and discovered by Number 6 in ‘Dance of the Dead,’ is actually Number 34. The man’s attire is evidence of being a Villager, together with the photograph found in the dead man’s wallet is conclusive, seeing that the dead man is pictured with a young woman sat by the pool and fountain in the Piazza.  Number 6 put the dead body to his own use, to carry a message to whoever may find it in the outside world. However having returned the corpse to the sea, tied to a lifebelt, and leaving it to drift away, the body was discovered, retrieved {possibly by the crew of M.S. Polotska} and taken to The Village mortuary. The body of the dead man, was then to be amended, as the wallet in the dead man's pocket was to be amended. So that it will be Number 6 who has died in an accident at sea. And for similar reasons Cobb was supposed to have jumped out of the hospital window in an act of suicide. So to the Prisoner, Cobb is dead!

Be seeing you
