Cobb-lers!

   Number 9 said she knew a way out, she and Cobb planned to escape together. Number 6 said they found out? No, they came sooner than Cobb was expecting. So Cobb was expecting them. You see in The Village you only have so much time to give them what they want, before they take it from you.

   It would seem that symbolically speaking the Prisoner is not so very different to Cobb. The Prisoner also had found a way out, and it appears that he was trying to get away before they came for him. Perhaps like Cobb the Prisoner was expecting them, but wasn’t quick enough to get away!
