File No.6

At one time, in his former life, the Prisoner set himself above the law, just because he was on secret business, a matter of life and death apparently. Yet he wouldn’t say whose life! But one can see why the Prisoner had been recruited into the banking section of British Intelligence, the Bank where the Prisoner applied for a job in ‘Once Upon A Time.’ One, because he was good at figures, and two because he could be trusted not to talk, being prepared as he was to double his own punishment for the sake of others.
It also means that one of his character traits which made him resign, his strong sense of right and wrong, is that which first helped him get the job from whence he resigned.
