The Butler, devoted as ever, brings Number 2 his
breakfast. Only Number 2 isn’t in his office at the time. However when the
black spherical chair rises up through the hole in the floor, with the
membranic Guardian in it, the Butler doesn’t turn a hair! It might be that
he’s seen most things, so that nothing surprises him any more! As for the
Guardian, “it” demonstrates delusions and grandeur! Mind you it might not do
any worse than many a Number 2!
