Thought For The Day
On a psychological level ‘the Prisoner’ is
a continuous struggle within, pitting the one against the six, or vice versa,
that’s why the Prisoner can never find peace of mind! But whether or not that
was the way of things before ZM73 resigned his top secret confidential job
we’ll never know. However that may have been the catalyst which caused him to
struggle with his conscience. The Village became the battle ground between
Number 6 and his conscience that being Number 1. Perhaps only part of him
wanted to resign, and afterwards he was left to struggle with his conscience,
to which there seems to be no end.
