Thanks For The Trip Out Dad!
“Thanks for the trip dad,” said Number 48
after being brought up from the depths, “dad” having been a much used word in
the 1960’s by the young for anyone older than themselves. “Give it to me baby”
said the Judge questioning Number 48, “baby” being a form of address, to which
Number 48 said “I’m your baby dad, you owe your baby something daddy. The bones
are yours dad, taken from you my daddy.” And because of this it may be thought
that the Judge is Number 48’s father. That is not the case, although 48 did
suggest the bones were his my daddy! The Judge and Number 48 are merely using
an informal form of address! After all it was the sixties!
