Thought For The Day
I have to say that things seem
a bit on the dull side after February and March have come and gone. I mean to
say so much happens during that time, Mind you Number 6 will not quite have
gotten over the episode of ‘The Schizoid Man’ just yet. I suppose it all
depends on how long it took him to grow that beard and moustache, somewhere
between 4 and 6 weeks I shouldn’t wonder, and seeing as it all begun on
February 10th, I suppose the mind conditioning will have been
completed and he’ll have undergone a makeover to make him look like Curtis.
Then he’ll have to have undergone a second makeover to make him look like
Number 6, so that he can then impersonate himself. Well it only seems fair,
seeing as for those 6 weeks Curtis will have installed himself in 6 Private,
and then went about The Village impersonating Number 6. But when did you ever
hear Number 6 whistle? And the way he comes into the cottage, hands in his
pockets, whistling, he’s far too relaxed, not like Number 6 at all! Poor old
Curtis, I bet when he was seconded back to The Village he never thought it
would end the way it did. Mind you it should have ended much sooner, only
Number 6 didn’t pick up on it, the fact that Curtis had a Polaroid picture
taken by Alison of himself wearing a dark blazer, when Curtis was wearing a
cream blazer. That should have ended the game at that point, and thus saved
Curtis’ life!
