I’ve Got A Good Mind To Report You!
That’s what the Maid said to
Number 6 in ‘Dance of The Dead,’ “I’ve a good mind to report you.” To which
Number 6 said “I’m new here.” Does that excuse Number 6 from the “rules?”
What’s more Number 6 claimed to have been new in The Village, not so new when
you think about it, it’s already episode 8, and obviously Number 6 has been in
The Village for months as opposed to days or weeks. However had ‘Dance of the
Dead’ remained the second episode as originally intended when Number 6 said
“I’m new here,” he would have been right. But as it is the Prisoner is too far
gone to say he’s new in The Village. During ‘The Chimes of Big Ben’ when Number
6 explains to Number 8 about the taxis he’s already sounding like a well
established citizen, and it’s only the second episode!
