Village Life!

It was announced by telephone that Number 6 had come to pay a call on Number 2. Number 2 said to the person on the telephone “oh really, send him in.” And there the Butler is, showing Number 6 into Number 2’s office. You can’t get clearer than that, it’s as plain as a pikestaff, it was the Butler who made that telephone call announcing Number 6 to Number 2. who else could it have been, there was no-one else there. There’s a general rule that if something was done, it was the Butler who did it. Anyway who said the Butler couldn’t speak, just because we the television viewer do not hear him, it doesn’t mean to say he can’t speak. Anyway, the reason why the Butler is never heard to speak on screen was because of Angelo Muscat’s strong Maltese accent!

Be seeing you
