Everything
in The Village is a game of one sort or another, and they do like playing their
games! And the Cat and Mouse, to mean a series of cunning manoeuvres designed
to thwart an opponent, is another one of them. And bearing that in mind, exactly
when did this nightclub come into existence? Because as Number 2 took Number 6
to assess the madding crowd that morning, there is no sign of the Cat and
Mouse, and after the episode of the local election there’s no sign of it again!
