Why
is it that whenever Number 6 is in Number 2’s office they keep a spotlight on
him? It was the same when he had his first interview with Number 2 on the day
of his arrival. Perhaps Number 6 likes to be in the spotlight, maybe the use of
a spotlight harkens back to stage work in the theatre! All The Village is a
stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and
their entrances,
And one
villager in his time plays many parts.
