The Prisoner

In a room in some undisclosed building, a man storms in, paces up and down as he shouts the odds at a seated man behind a desk. The man takes an envelope, marked personal by hand, from his jacket pocket and slams it down onto the desk, along with his fist then storms out of the office. The letter is a letter of resignation, but the man works for the British Government on top state secret confidential work, a man like him wouldn’t be allowed to simply resign. But at the same time he couldn’t be permitted to roam free at large. So what to do with him? Put him in a place of security until he’s cooled his heels. In the meantime it would be productive to find out what has gone wrong with one of their top men. Why did he resign?

Be seeing you
