I suppose basically what people and fans of the 1960's television series the Prisoner want to know is, "Why did the Prisoner resign?" For peace of mind is one reason which springs quickly to mind. Another might be as a matter of conscience, because too many people know too much. Well as the Prisoner-No.6 once told No.2, "You've been told!"
