  2. Hello Moor Larkin,
I did wonder if I was putting on something trivial when I posted this issue of The tally Ho, but not any of it. I am pleased that I have been of service to you.

The fact of the matter is, I have two such full size facsimiles of The tally Ho, the one above and the one used in the episode 'Free For All,' with the headline 'No.6 speaks His Mind.'

Now I fully understand your right to anonimity, and that you would not wish to post your postal address here for the world to see, for security reasons. However, if postal communications were at all possible, and any such address would be kept utterly, and completely confidential. Because I would be pleased, and most willing to send you copies of the two Tally Ho's, with my compliments, seeing as how you were so pleased to see the above posting. That way you would get an even clearer picture of them.
If you wish, you may contact me at my email address stimpyfor6@msn.com however, should you wish to maintain your anonimity, that's fine, and I quite understand. It was just a thought on my part.
    Best Wishes
    David.

  3. I noticed that the one you posted of the *log* from Many Happy Returns seems a bit odd. It's as if there is no Tally Ho printing at all on the areas where No6 is supposed to have scribbled on the back of the village newspaper. However, the one seen in the show seems to be a full page of printed mastter.

  4. Hello Moor Larkin,
You are quite right, there is something not quite right about The Tally Ho in question. The fact of the matter is, that issue of The Tally Ho I posted is a reproduction to show, not the newspaper itself, but the log kept by No.6 on his sea voyage during 'Many Happy Returns.' The log was written on the 'back' of The Tally Ho, the newspaper itself being printed on only one side of the paper. Hence some of the print showing through some of No.6's log on the reverse side of The Tally Ho.
